The location was truly spectacular and so
Close to everything! I loved being steps away from the beach. the breakfast options were somewhat repetitive, missing the variety we hoped for during our stay.

We stayed in a Twin Room with Partial Sea View for 3 nights. The bed was decent, but a bit firm for my liking. Room cleanliness was spot-on with daily maid service. The mini fridge was a nice touch for keeping drinks cool. We noticed some street noise, especially during busy hours, which made it harder to relax sometimes. it was a comfortable spot to unwind after a day out.

the location was amazin, right near the beach and close to shops n bars. the pool area was really nice for chillin out, enough sun loungers most of the time. the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. the room was comfy and clean overall, had a decent balcony! best of all, it was a good value for money!
the breakfast was kind of basic, not much variety at all. also, the room was kinda noisy because of the traffic outside.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a stroll away from the beach with a lovely pool that the kids enjoyed. We found the access to the nearby marina along the beach promenade very easy, making it perfect for evening walks. The staff made it feel welcoming.
My kids wished there were more entertainment options for them to enjoy at the hotel.

great location , but breakfast lacked variety
The location offered direct access to the promenade , which made exploring easy. The pool area was a favorite spot for my family , providing a pleasant space to unwind. Our room featured a lovely partial sea view that enhanced our overall experience. Sea views added a special touch to our mornings, making it a lovely way to start the day.
The breakfast spread could use more variety, as it felt repetitive over our stay.

The hotel's charming character added to our stay, and it was nice to find a good balance between relaxation and exploration just steps away from the beach. the room faced the road, making it quite noisy during busy hours, affecting our sleep a bit.

Consider using the back gate for quick access to the promenade and nearby restaurants. it's a great way to explore without the hustle.

The location of the Luar is superb, just a 5-minute walk from the start of the strip in Portimao. I appreciated the nice ocean views, especially from the balcony. The pool area felt inviting but struggled with sunbed hogging. people would reserve their spots early and not use them, leading to some tension. Staff interactions varied. the reception team weren’t overly welcoming, yet the pool bar staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic with little variety, which pushed us to bring our own fruit. Our room cleanliness was acceptable, but housekeeping seemed inconsistent. They arrived quite late in the day, often just to switch towels. It’s also worth noting that the room we got was comfortable, yet noisy due to street traffic, which made it hard to relax. A bit of an update to the decor could significantly enhance the overall ambiance. Though the hotel had good potential, the outdated facilities could use a refurb. The parking situation wasn’t ideal, with limited spots nearby. Value for money in terms of amenities felt lacking, but the proximity to local restaurants was a plus.
